To have stood outside a derelict mansion house in 1976 in the overgrown grounds of a woodland estate and imagined that nine years later you would be playing on what is arguably Scotlands finest inland golf course, would have stretched the imagination of even the most optimistic golf visionary. However that is exactly what has happened here at Letham Grange. It was entirely appropriate that Letham Grange Old Course was opened by the esteemed figure of Sir Henry Cotton in 1987.
